Where orders actually fail
None of these are production faults. Every one of them stops a container.
- Labelling
- Fibre composition, care symbols, size or country of origin in the wrong language or the wrong format for the destination.
- Missing test report
- The importer is asked for a report that was never commissioned, weeks after the goods shipped.
- File mismatch
- What was filed with the authority does not describe what is in the carton.
- Document errors
- Invoice, packing list and certificate of origin that disagree with each other or with the shipment.
What we handle
- Technical file
- Fibre composition, care instructions, construction and measurements, assembled in the form your importer files.
- Third-party testing
- On request we arrange testing at SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or TÜV Rheinland, and hand you the report.
- Labelling
- Care, composition, size and origin labels in the language and format the destination market requires.
- Export documentation
- Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin issued to match the shipment exactly.
- Pre-shipment inspection
- Inspection report in your hands before the container is sealed.
1Selling into the Gulf
Goods entering Saudi Arabia need a conformity certificate for the product and another for each shipment. Your importer files them; the factory supplies the technical file and test reports they are filed against. We will tell you what your file is missing before you place the order, not after the container has sailed.
On certification
We do not display certification marks we cannot evidence. Any buyer can verify them, and a false one is found in an afternoon. Third-party testing is arranged per order at SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or TÜV Rheinland, and the report is issued in your name.
